Quality Engineer (Energy Storage)

What you will do

• Support global incoming and in-process quality programs, reporting systems, and shared process development.
• Lead investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions across design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, service, warranty, and sustaining operations.
• Maintain inspection reports, test data, non-conformance logs, and other quality records in line with quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support functional testing, safety checks, wiring verification, and system-level commissioning tests for assembled battery energy storage containers.
• Triage quality tickets, prioritize commercial risk, reduce backlog, and analyze CAPAs, JIRAs, NCRs, and related data.
• Support product stage-gate decisions and product readiness in partnership with product development, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in quality, engineering, or operations within manufacturing, energy, or related sectors.
• Experience managing quality non-conformities and aligning regional organizations across global teams.
• Deep understanding of at least two areas: software and controls, batteries, inverters, transformers, civil and structural systems, or electrical systems.
• Experience with proactive quality systems, risk management, product lifecycle integration, change control, supplier quality, validation, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• 1–3+ years of experience with large-scale renewable energy projects of 100 MWpeak or greater, plus legal and commercial agreement interpretation skills.
