CNC Machine Operator

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site
Night shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

Salary: $23–$29 per hour, plus a 12% weekend shift differential. The posting also references a compensation range of $20–$30 per hour plus bonus.

What you will do

• Set up and operate laser, punch, and panel bender CNC machines, including loading sheet metal and entering or post-processing programs.
• Read work orders, blueprints, sketches, fabrication standards, and machine programs to produce components to specification.
• Run tests, adjust mechanical settings and programs, and inspect parts using quality control systems and check sheets.
• Inspect, replace, and sharpen tooling; maintain CNC machines and tooling inventories.
• Review materials, designs, work orders, and programs for accuracy and perform related production duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings, with strong mechanical aptitude and methodical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 or more hours daily.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, proactive, willing to learn, and prepared to support other teams and departments.
• Must pass a background check and participate in the required drug and alcohol program for this safety-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• Two-year technical degree in Machine Technology, Precision Machining, or CNC Operations.
• Experience with shop machinery such as shears and brake presses.
• Laser and punch machine experience.
