Senior NC Programmer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Determine machining operations and prepare detailed NC program outlines, tooling requirements, and gauging requirements for aerospace parts.
• Prepare NC operation sheets and estimate setup, run, tooling design, and build hours.
• Troubleshoot complex machining processes and improve production methods in NC machining centers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing engineering, design, product engineering, quality assurance, metallurgy, inspection, machine shop, and assembly and test groups.
• Provide technical guidance and input on job evaluations, performance appraisals, and team development.
• Manage multiple tasks, respond to shifting priorities, and support on-time and cost-competitive process planning.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of NC programming experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting complex processes on multiaxial and multifunction CNC machines.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions or training in English.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent demonstrated capabilities may be considered.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
