Account Manager, Electrification, Energy & Water Efficiency (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Must live in or around Jacksonville, Florida, United States; reliable vehicle and local travel required 50%–80% of the time.

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 starting annual pay; full-time pay range of $50,364–$85,618.

What you will do

• Support utility-sponsored programs focused on energy efficiency, electrification, and water conservation.
• Advocate for customers and explain available program offerings and utility incentives.
• Develop data-driven outreach strategies to recruit and retain program participants.
• Prospect, identify, and qualify energy and water efficiency upgrades.
• Increase customer awareness of the benefits of participating in efficiency programs.
• Travel locally 50%–80% of the time using a reliable personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, with relevant experience accepted as a substitute.
• At least 1 year of experience managing successful client relationships and related project management activities.
• At least 1 year of experience in energy efficiency, electrification, or water conservation.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Strong writing, editing, research, and public speaking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with utilities, commercial or industrial companies, and Florida energy or water efficiency markets.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, program implementation, economic analysis, and Demand Side Management programs.
• Experience with energy audits, energy savings calculations, ENERGY STAR, LEED, or related program platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Energy Manager, Certified Lighting Professional, or Certified Energy Auditor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
