Senior Associate, New Verticals - Grocery Strategy & Operations (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., or Seattle, with a few days per month in person

Salary: $87,000–$128,000 USD base salary annually, plus potential equity grants

What you will do

• Develop go-to-market and customer strategies for the Grocery business.
• Launch and manage growth, quality, and operational initiatives.
• Track operational dashboards and week-over-week metrics.
• Use SQL and Excel to build models evaluating programs, experiments, and their economic and operational impact.
• Use AI tools to prototype consumer-facing concepts, create research mocks, synthesize customer feedback, and develop product visions.
• Partner with growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product teams to scale Grocery.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional roles in technology, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including first-principles thinking and complex problem synthesis.
• Hands-on experience with SQL data analysis and Excel modeling.
• Ownership mindset, entrepreneurial approach, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
• Active interest in experimenting with AI tools to automate workflows and accelerate analysis.
• Completed bachelor’s degree.
