Senior Associate, New Verticals - Grocery Strategy & Operations

Location: Hybrid, based in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, or Washington, D.C.; a few days per month in person

Salary: $87,000–$128,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential equity grants

What you will do

• Develop go-to-market strategies for the Grocery business from first principles.
• Launch and manage growth and quality initiatives, tracking operational metrics week over week.
• Build Excel models and use SQL to evaluate the economic, operational, and strategic impact of programs and experiments.
• Design and run operational experiments that produce measurable outcomes.
• Use AI tools to prototype consumer-facing ideas, create research mocks, synthesize customer feedback, and develop product visions.
• Partner with growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product teams to scale Grocery.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in analytical and cross-functional environments such as technology, operations, strategy, consulting, or banking.
• Strong analytical skills, including independent SQL data analysis and Excel modeling.
• Ability to solve complex problems from first principles and translate goals into actionable plans.
• Ownership mindset, entrepreneurial approach, and comfort working in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
• Active experimentation with AI tools and willingness to automate repetitive work and accelerate analysis.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree.
