Investment Banking Associate (M&A)

Location: Remote from Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, or Brazil; aligned with U.S. business hours

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking support for investment banking transactions and strategic advisory engagements.

What you will do

• Build and maintain DCF, LBO, merger, comparable company, and precedent transaction models.
• Support buy-side, sell-side, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements.
• Manage due diligence checklists, transaction timelines, virtual data rooms, and information requests.
• Prepare and refine CIMs, pitch books, teasers, management presentations, and investor decks.
• Conduct industry, company, and market research and incorporate findings into valuation assumptions and transaction materials.
• Review analyst work, mentor junior team members, and support senior bankers with client meetings and transaction updates.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities.
• Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of DCF valuation, LBO modeling, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, or PitchBook, plus strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and availability during U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, or CPA.
• VBA or macros experience.
• Experience across both buy-side and sell-side M&A or capital raising.
• Experience in technology, healthcare, real estate, or financial services.
• Previous experience mentoring or reviewing analyst work.
