Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager (Data Center Construction)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; on-site, with travel to additional locations

Salary: $115,000–$143,000 annually plus bonus; restricted stock units included.

What you will do

• Partner with the Digital Infrastructure Group safety leadership to identify operational risks and develop action plans.
• Build HSE awareness through communications, training, and participation in safety programs.
• Assess worker risks and implement processes, procedures, work instructions, and checklists to mitigate exposure.
• Monitor regulatory and internal compliance, report HSE objectives and metrics, and support audits and assessments.
• Engage with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies on HSE matters.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective-action follow-up, regulatory updates, and HSE documentation across worksites.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in data center construction, oil and gas, commercial construction, heavy civil, or other mission-critical operations.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state HSE rules and regulations, with direct experience implementing them in operational environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation, reporting, and HSE management systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work and reside in the United States without sponsorship.
• Participation in the required drug and alcohol program is mandatory for this safety-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• University degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in steel erection, NFPA 70E electrical and mechanical safety, or earthwork.
• CSP, ASP, or CHST certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and driving safety-related cultural change.
