What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of the corporate network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and serve as the final escalation point for emergent events.
• Design, develop, and implement automation tools for network monitoring and response.
• Own and deliver critical networking projects from planning through execution.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to influence technical decisions and infrastructure evolution.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and author RFCs to establish engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, LACP, MLAG, and EVPN/VXLAN.
• Strong experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and AAA frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of network utilities and monitoring tools (ICMP, Syslog, NetFlow, SNMP, Wireshark).
• Hands-on experience managing wireless networks and remote access solutions.
• Eligible to work in the US (as per state-specific legal requirements mentioned).

Nice to have

• Extensive knowledge of Palo Alto, Juniper, and Arista networking technologies.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and automation expertise with Ansible.
• Experience designing and managing AWS networking solutions, specifically Route 53.
• Background in DevOps, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD networking integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
