hirify.global develops risk-aware, reliable AI systems and autonomous robots for demanding real-world environments.

What you will do

  • Design regulated power architectures, voltage rails, converters, switches, fuses, grounding schemes, and system-level power budgets.
  • Design and document wire harnesses, PCB schematics, layouts, bills of materials, pinouts, and communication interfaces.
  • Architect wired and wireless networks using Ethernet, USB, CAN, I2C, WiFi, 5G, and related protocols.
  • Validate power, communications, signal integrity, EMI/EMC robustness, thermal resilience, and fault isolation.
  • Integrate electrical systems with mechanical, sensor, compute, and autonomy platforms for robotic deployments.
  • Support production, vendor and contract-manufacturer coordination, debugging, field integration, deployment, and servicing.

Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and testing low-voltage regulated power systems and custom wire harnesses for robotics or automotive-style systems.
  • Proficiency with PCB schematic and layout tools such as KiCad, Altium, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with USB, Ethernet, CAN, I2C, GMSL, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and EMI/EMC test setups, with the ability to produce detailed electrical documentation.
  • U.S. Person eligibility is required, including U.S. citizenship, U.S. nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee status, or asylee status.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling systems from prototype to large-scale production.
  • Experience with harsh field environments, deployed robotics, autonomous vehicles, drones, or ruggedized robots.
  • Fluency across electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
  • Background in fault protection, EMI/EMC compliance, reliability engineering, and safety-critical design.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fully onsite collaboration with flexible working hours.
  • Full benefits, equity, and generous time off.
  • Work on autonomous robots deployed in unstructured, real-world environments.
  • Inclusive workplace focused on creativity, resilience, interdisciplinary expertise, and merit-based evaluation.
