Platform Engineer / Nutanix - Managed Services

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Nutanix clusters and virtualization platforms including VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V.
• Administer core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, privileged account management, and CMDB systems.
• Monitor and tune virtualization performance across multi-tenant and enterprise deployments.
• Support provisioning and lifecycle automation using Nutanix Calm, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Apply data protection, encryption, access control, audit, vulnerability assessment, and remediation practices.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and client teams during implementations, design discussions, workshops, and operational escalations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience supporting enterprise virtualization solutions.
• Experience with or understanding of Nutanix AHV, Prism, and Nutanix Files.
• Hands-on exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, and Linux systems, with at least 2 years supporting Linux.
• Understanding of virtualization principles, workload isolation, and multi-tenancy.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in design discussions and client-facing engagements.
• Ability to work at a desk for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds when required.

Nice to have

• Nutanix Certified Professional NCP-MCI or Nutanix Certified Services-Core NCS-Core certification.
• VMware or Microsoft virtualization certifications.
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Nutanix-based managed services, Calm, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, or hosting and virtualization compliance frameworks.
