Network Engineer III - Network Deployment Engineer (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote; must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants

What you will do

• Build and operate multi-vendor, multi-region hybrid cloud networks at scale.
• Own the deployment and lifecycle of data center network infrastructure.
• Improve the quality and velocity of network deployments through code, testing, and validation.
• Integrate network automation into capacity deployment workflows with internal teams.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve network visibility.
• Maintain production network reliability and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required.
• 7+ years of experience building and operating multi-vendor, multi-region production networks, including 4+ years focused primarily on network automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and NETCONF/YANG or gNMI/OpenConfig.
• Production-quality Python or Go development experience, including Git workflows, code review, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with FedRAMP or other regulated environments and public cloud connectivity across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Expertise in IPv6, MP-BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, QoS, IPsec, and MACsec.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, and efficiency.
• Experience at hyperscalers or large cloud service providers.
• Experience deploying and maintaining whitebox switches and open-source network operating systems.
