Director of Insurance Operations (Insurance)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; listed locations include Atlanta, Georgia, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Monday–Friday during normal business hours, with coordination across multiple US time zones and some travel to broker offices, Op Co locations, meetings, and trainings.

What you will do

• Lead Insurance Coordinators, Senior Insurance Coordinators, and Regional Insurance Leads across the US market.
• Own the operational model for insurance delivery from data intake and policy placement through renewals and post-placement servicing.
• Manage hirify.global's national broker partner network, including service levels, escalations, business reviews, and growth opportunities.
• Design, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures and team workflows.
• Own brokerage-channel reporting covering growth, retention, penetration, commissions, and team performance.
• Translate operational data into recommendations and partner with data and technology teams to improve reporting infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in insurance, insurance operations, brokerage operations, in-house risk management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience managing and performance-managing a team.
• Strong working knowledge of P&C insurance products and insurance operations from policy placement through servicing and reporting.
• Experience managing external partner relationships at the program level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Must work remotely from the United States and coordinate across multiple US time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with HOA management, community association management, or similar property management environments.
• Experience in a portfolio company or matrixed organization.
• P&C license or ability to obtain one.
