Software Engineer, Elixir (React)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Elixir services and React frontend code.
• Work across the technology stack, including infrastructure, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Optimize systems for performance under load and support production reliability.
• Investigate technical issues involving outages, security risks, maintenance, deployments, and customer support tickets.
• Conduct research and prototyping, create technical proposals and specifications, and collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings while delivering project priorities within deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Elixir.
• Strong knowledge of Elixir, React, PostgreSQL, SQL, data management, and database migrations.
• Experience with Git, branching and pull requests, test-driven development, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, technical design, and communication skills.
• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of software, including production reliability, monitoring, real-world performance, and safe changes to unfamiliar codebases.
