What you will do

• Partner with the Product Manager to define, scope, and prioritise features using product thinking and customer context.
• Own feature delivery end to end, from architecture decisions through production, across frontend and backend systems.
• Build and maintain TypeScript applications with React, NestJS, and GraphQL APIs.
• Use AI tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Claude as part of the engineering workflow.
• Collaborate with Staff Engineers, Engineering Managers, Design, Data Science, QA, and DevOps specialists as needed.
• Contribute to a fast-moving delivery culture focused on ownership, continuous improvement, and reduced hand-offs.

Requirements

• Proven full-stack engineering experience with strong TypeScript and React proficiency.
• Product-oriented mindset and experience taking features independently from concept to production.
• Meaningful experience using AI tools in day-to-day engineering work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to self-manage in a small, high-trust team.
• Experience in a startup or early-stage environment and in B2B SaaS.
• Ability to work remotely from the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Apollo, or similar technologies.
• Experience in HR tech.
