Software Engineer II (Networking) - Platform Infra

Salary: €54,500–€71,200 EUR per year in base salary; no variable compensation.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable application networking features for hirify.global Cloud, including ingress, security controls, private connectivity, and DNS management.
• Integrate security controls and refactor existing code to improve functionality and maintainability.
• Analyze performance metrics, conduct load testing, and optimize networking features for response time, scalability, and resource efficiency.
• Build performance monitoring, tracing, and troubleshooting tools for application networking issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis for network-related incidents and document troubleshooting processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across hirify.global to fulfill application networking requirements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing scalable networking components in Golang.
• Experience with Kubernetes; familiarity with Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway, and Crossplane is valuable.
• Knowledge of at least one major cloud provider and its networking ecosystem: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in using AI tools to improve code functionality and maintainability.
• Strong focus on testing, observability, operability, and software quality.
• Curiosity about distributed systems and a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
