Adobe Campaign Platform/Backend Engineer

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in a large, mature Adobe Campaign production instance.
• Design and execute strategies to archive and purge more than 10 years of accumulated data without disrupting live operations.
• Support the technical migration of campaigns and data from Marketo to Adobe Campaign.
• Work with schema-level objects and workflow-engine internals rather than the UI or campaign-builder layer.
• Collaborate closely with the customer on challenging platform engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Deep experience with Adobe Campaign backend and platform engineering, including database structure, workflow engine internals, and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL performance tuning skills, including indexing strategy, query optimization, and execution plan analysis.
• Proven experience archiving and purging large historical datasets in live systems.
• Previous experience migrating campaigns and data from platforms such as Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud into Adobe Campaign.
• Practical experience with schema-level objects such as nms: recipient and xtk: schema, as well as raw SQL and PL/SQL.
• Backend/platform experience is required; an administration or UI-only background is not sufficient.
