What you will do

• Design and architect data pipelines to cleanse, normalize, and transform raw data into final datasets.
• Engineer the backbone of data infrastructure to ensure the availability of pristine, refined data sets.
• Convert business objectives and requirements into technical data specifications and puzzles.
• Analyze information to uncover quality issues and initial insights.
• Manage the full data lifecycle to ensure information remains fresh and impactful.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure data solutions align with technical and business requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience within the financial services or banking sector.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and distributed frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and lineage practices.
