Principal Systems Integration Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Salary: $188,000–$235,000+ bonus annually, plus Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Define next-generation data center reference architectures across electrical, mechanical, thermal, facility, and compute domains.
• Scan the industry and evaluate emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, standards, and partner roadmaps through a full-system perspective.
• Guide technologies from bench-scale evaluation and pilot deployment through production validation and hyperscale rollout.
• Lead feasibility assessments, pilot design reviews, technical readiness decisions, and system-level integration activities.
• Author high-level system specifications, interface control documents, and design standards for future platforms.
• Partner with engineering teams, leadership, startups, OEMs, academic research groups, and national laboratories.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in data center design, large-scale infrastructure, hyperscale computing, or industrial power systems.
• Experience architecting across electrical power, mechanical and thermal systems, compute infrastructure, and facility design.
• Working knowledge of power generation and distribution, direct liquid cooling, data center facilities, compute, and networking infrastructure.
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies, conducting feasibility studies, and authoring system architecture and interface specifications.
• Proven ability to align multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive technical consensus without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline; strong technical communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hyperscale systems architecture or principal engineering experience.
• Modular or containerized data center design and deployment experience.
• Familiarity with DC power distribution architectures.
• Experience with HPC and GPU-accelerated AI infrastructure at scale.
• Mission-critical facility design experience, including redundancy, reliability, and availability engineering.
