Principal Operations Systems Engineer

Salary: $255,000–$290,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and evolve operational systems supporting manufacturing execution, inventory integrity, material flow, logistics, and production readiness.
• Translate manufacturing challenges into scalable processes, workflows, and digital capabilities.
• Evaluate operations to identify capability gaps before they become production constraints.
• Partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Control, Quality, Supply Chain, Factory Automation, and Software Engineering.
• Establish standards for operational workflows, data integrity, system implementation, and user experience.
• Improve metrics, dashboards, decision-support tools, workflow simplicity, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of experience designing, implementing, or improving manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or operational systems.
• Demonstrated success solving complex operational challenges through process, systems, and technology integration.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing execution, inventory management, material flow, warehouse operations, and production support.
• Experience partnering across technical and operational organizations to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ability to work on-site in Everett, Washington.
