Audio/Visual Technician

Location: Valhalla, New York — onsite; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST

Pay rate: $29.19 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and break down multi-camera systems and audiovisual equipment for meetings, events, and presentations.
• Support onsite, hybrid, and remote meetings, including executive meetings and enterprise communications.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and upgrade audiovisual equipment, cabling, wireless networking, and synchronization channels.
• Configure customer equipment, map software to network drives, and transfer large files across storage platforms.
• Perform basic video editing, including cutting, titling, audio adjustments, and codec management.
• Maintain equipment inventory, complete service reports, and provide face-to-face customer support.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited two-year college or technical institution plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Crestron, and Dante technologies.
• Strong audiovisual troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team while managing multiple priorities and changing business needs.
• Ability to read technical and safety documentation, write service reports, and resolve issues in a structured manner.
• Ability to work onsite in Valhalla, New York, including climbing and moving equipment when required.
