What you will do

• Work with technical stakeholders and C-level executives to define cloud transformation goals and architectural strategies.
• Design scalable AWS architectures using containers, serverless services, databases, messaging, networking, and API management.
• Create migration and modernization roadmaps for legacy, monolithic, microservice, and hybrid systems.
• Design application integrations, APIs, data flows, authentication, authorization, and event-driven communication patterns.
• Improve observability, troubleshoot complex production issues, and identify performance, stability, and scalability root causes.
• Automate AWS environments with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, security controls, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Strong experience designing and operating cloud-based applications, with a background in application development or architecture using PHP, Java, or similar technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, monolithic and microservice architectures, event-driven systems, and cloud application debugging.
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and observability tools such as CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration using ECS and/or EKS.
• Proficient English and the ability to work remotely from Poland are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed tracing, including OpenTelemetry or X-Ray.
• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments.
• Performance optimization at application and infrastructure levels.
• AWS or DevOps certifications.
