Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA. Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.

Salary: $210,000 - $265,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and debug sensor drivers for embedded platforms.
• Perform board bring-up and validation in collaboration with hardware engineers.
• Implement and test communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
• Write firmware for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
• Build validation tools to ensure sensor data quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware-software integration issues.

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in C or C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded development workflows.
• Familiarity with electronics concepts, signals, and debugging.
• Proficiency with hardware interfaces like SPI, I2C, or UART.
• Must be a U.S. Person to access export-controlled information.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
