Engineering Manager (Light Structures)

Location: Tucson, Arizona, United States; onsite five days a week. The position may require 25% travel. Domestic relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 annually

What you will do

• Lead a team of 10 Design Engineers within the Rigid Frame Trucks Engineering Organization.
• Guide design, analysis, and value chain collaboration for Large Mining Trucks and Dynamic Energy Transfer product lines.
• Oversee New Product Introduction and Continuous Product Improvement, including maintenance initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance across the full product lifecycle, from concept through end-of-life.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to deliver safe, high-quality, timely, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Manage engineering R&D and maintenance budgets while recruiting, mentoring, and developing team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Materials Science from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in light structures, heavy structures, or analytical engineering domains.
• Experience contributing to major New Product Introduction initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Product Improvement efforts.
• Ability to manage people, address performance and workplace conflict issues, make informed decisions, plan across operational, tactical, and strategic horizons, and communicate effectively.
• Must work onsite in Tucson five days per week; visa sponsorship is not available.
