Electrical Engineer (III, SR or Staff) (Project Execution-Power Innovation)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States; hybrid work model with one work-from-home day each week for most office-based roles

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
• Integrate automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage technologies to improve system performance and reduce operating costs.
• Implement arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to improve personnel safety and infrastructure reliability.
• Provide technical expertise on power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new construction and facility upgrades.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through completion while maintaining alignment with business goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant ABET-accredited Engineering Technology program.
• Relevant experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry: 4–8 years for level III/Senior roles and 15 years for Staff roles.
• Professional Engineer license required for Engineering Technology degree holders; PE license is preferred for other candidates.
• Experience reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements.
• Working knowledge of electrical design codes, including NEC, NEMA, API, and IEEE.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and strong organizational, interpersonal, and safety-focused skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation systems, project management, Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and PC systems.
