Project Manager - Preconstruction Consultant

Location: Dallas, Houston, or Austin, Texas, USA

Salary: $93,500–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, agendas, and progress updates across all project phases.
• Coordinate reports, drawing reviews, and project documentation during conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction phases.
• Support consultant and construction team selection, contracting, and oversight.
• Review requisitions, change orders, invoices, project costs, and budget impacts with clients and property management.
• Collaborate with account managers, facility teams, clients, owners, consultants, and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with client, corporate, government, building code, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• At least 5 years of directly related experience in an engineering or construction project accountability role.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in project management, including leading, motivating, and developing employees.
• Strong client focus, communication, relationship management, leadership, organization, multitasking, consultation, and time management skills.
