Salary: $75,000–$156,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Translate project and system requirements into hardware architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Design, simulate, lay out, verify, and test analog and digital circuits, PCBs, electronic equipment, sensors, motors, radar, and navigation systems.
• Build, debug, and test prototypes and deliverable hardware.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and provide ongoing design and production support.
• Research innovative solutions and collaborate with engineers and partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective products.
• Communicate design status, project progress, risks, and issue resolution to technical contributors and project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in electronic design, detailed design specifications, engineering theory, and technical problem-solving.
• Experience designing sophisticated electronic systems using commercial off-the-shelf FPGAs, processors, or systems-on-chip.
• Ability to begin complex PCB designs involving digital electronics, sensor interfaces, and power distribution with limited oversight.
• Selected applicants must obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
