Director of IT, Infrastructure & Security (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead IT operations, including help desk, onboarding and offboarding, endpoint support, Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Linux/Ubuntu systems.
• Own corporate network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, routers, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs, segmentation, secure remote access, monitoring, and vendor management.
• Maintain and improve SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and CMMC compliance programs, including control monitoring, evidence collection, access reviews, and audit support.
• Manage practical security controls covering endpoint security, IAM, MFA, patching, vulnerability remediation, logging, EDR, SIEM/SOC coordination, vendor risk, and incident response coordination.
• Lead a small IT team, manage MSP relationships, and partner with Engineering, Legal, Sales, and executive leadership.
• Communicate security and infrastructure risk clearly and lead security reviews for sensitive architectural changes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT, infrastructure, corporate technology, identity, security operations, or related functions.
• Experience leading IT operations in a high-growth technology company.
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2 Type II audits and at least one of FedRAMP, ISO 27001, or CMMC.
• CISSP or equivalent senior security certification or experience.
• Strong network infrastructure knowledge at approximately CCNA level, including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and segmentation.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, logging, SOC/MSSP workflows, automation, APIs, or scripting.
