CFP Contractor Instructor (Finance)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

An education provider delivering CFP exam preparation through books, online learning programs, question databases, classroom presentations, and virtual instruction.

What you will do

• Teach assigned CFP exam courses in virtual classrooms.
• Prepare and present course material using existing books, handouts, online learning content, question databases, and PowerPoint materials.
• Answer student questions during classes and through support queues.
• Coordinate with other faculty and make student coaching calls as needed.
• Support updates and content development for educational slides and related materials.
• Monitor CFP regulations and tax law changes and provide ongoing availability to the Faculty Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or Finance, and/or professional insurance experience.
• Prior teaching and technical writing experience.
• Financial industry experience.
• Familiarity with Zoom and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize law changes in understandable English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organization, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with LibreOffice or Adobe FrameMaker.
