Commissioning Project Manager Staff (Project Execution, Power Innovation East)

Location: TX Houston - Tower, United States. The role includes on-site leadership and up to 75% travel.

What you will do

• Lead commissioning and startup activities for compressor stations, plants, meter stations, and other pipeline facilities.
• Provide on-site leadership to Operations, contractors, engineering, and support staff throughout commissioning.
• Implement the Asset Commissioning Process and coordinate commissioning activities, staffing, schedules, and site mobilization.
• Develop and execute FAT testing, software testing, commissioning work plans, gas handling plans, and vendor checklists.
• Coordinate vendors, outages, approvals, and activities with Operations and other functional groups.
• Monitor progress against site plans, adjust resources, and communicate commissioning status to project leaders and partners.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 15 years of related experience in operations, construction, or commissioning for oil and gas pipelines, meter stations, plants, or facilities.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and shared-ownership skills, with safety as the highest priority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus scheduling and support software.
• Experience constructing and commissioning new oil and gas assets.
• Ability to read engineering prints and technical schematics.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or vocational school completion in a technical field.
• At least 20 years of related operations, construction, or commissioning experience.
• Prior leadership experience and familiarity with natural gas midstream assets.
• Experience with driver and compression equipment packages, end-device calibrations, ancillary systems, and electrical or controls equipment.
