What you will do

• Own the build and assembly definition and execution for generator subsystems, including structures, moving mechanical assemblies, power transmission, vacuum systems, electromagnets, capacitor systems, harnessing, and radiation shielding.
• Author work instructions for technician teams covering standard builds and nonconformance resolution.
• Design and manufacture tooling for efficient subsystem assembly and installation.
• Collaborate with production, integration, and engineering teams on prototypes and manufacturing demonstrators.
• Drive configuration management, delivered hardware quality, and execution speed.
• Improve low-volume build processes across the full part lifecycle, from purchase through final assembly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing, assembly, or integration of multidisciplinary hardware.
• Hands-on experience across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.
• Experience creating models and drawings in CAD software such as NX or SolidWorks.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a build.
• Effective technical communication across functional and organizational levels.
