Senior Program Manager, Validation Operations (AI/ML)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $132,000–$198,000 annual base pay, plus performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Autonomy, Systems, and Data Platform Engineering to support validation and expansion programs.
• Define quality metrics, sampling approaches, annotation workflows, and operating mechanisms for scalable data validation.
• Audit workflows, query databases, investigate pipeline and accuracy failures, and drive corrective action.
• Manage the offshore operations partner, including budget, capacity, performance, and quality outcomes.
• Lead process improvements, documentation, pilot programs, change management, and oversight of a small in-house team.
• Translate complex operational and technical issues into clear recommendations for engineering, operations, and leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of program management experience in software validation and/or AI/ML operations.
• Deep familiarity with data pipelines, labeling ecosystems, annotation workflows, quality sampling, taxonomy design, and inter-annotator agreement.
• Experience identifying and closing data-quality gaps with measurable effects on accuracy or model performance.
• Experience managing large-scale offshore or globally distributed annotation teams.
• Proficiency with SQL and BigQuery, plus KPI-driven prioritization, capacity management, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience; strong written and verbal communication skills.
