Engineer Senior, III, or II – Power Innovation & Project Development

What you will do

• Support power generation, energy storage, utility infrastructure, and emerging energy projects from concept through final investment decision and execution.
• Develop conceptual designs, basis-of-design documents, project schedules, execution strategies, and capital cost estimates.
• Perform technical and economic evaluations for project screening, technology selection, and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with commercial, business development, operations, environmental, regulatory, construction, and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, utilities, and customers.
• Identify and mitigate technical, permitting, environmental, regulatory, constructability, and schedule risks while supporting safe, reliable, and maintainable project development.

Requirements

• Senior level: bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and eight years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry.
• Engineer III level: bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and five years of relevant engineering experience.
• Engineer II level: bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution and two years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business functions and commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering.
