Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in the United Kingdom; occasional meetings at the London-based office are required when requested. A separate listing reference also specifies remote in the United States.

What you will do

• Monitor system security events and networks using current security technologies.
• Investigate, contain, and mitigate security incidents.
• Support vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and remediation activities.
• Develop and improve security policies, procedures, and controls with IT and business units.
• Support ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and other compliance initiatives.
• Prepare security reports, process customer security assessments, and support employee cybersecurity awareness training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption, and content filtering.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, CIS, data privacy laws, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or international company experience.
• Familiarity with Lyra International's security infrastructure.
