What you will do

• Monitor and analyze security event data from host logs, network traffic, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Respond to critical alerts through detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.
• Develop and mature threat detections, response playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate and tune security tools, alerts, and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide clear security analysis and recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in security monitoring and incident response.
• Experience configuring, tuning, and optimizing SIEM systems and creating threat detections.
• Knowledge of Azure security, Microsoft Defender for Azure, endpoint detection and response, DLP, IAM, and Microsoft Identity solutions.
• Experience with SOAR tools and scripting in Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO, or PCI-DSS.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
