What you will do

• Monitor and triage security alerts and events across enterprise systems, endpoints, cloud platforms, and networks.
• Investigate indicators of compromise, phishing attempts, malware detections, and unauthorized access.
• Administer and tune cybersecurity platforms including Microsoft GCC High, Crowdstrike, and Azure Sentinel.
• Develop and improve detection rules, playbooks, and response procedures.
• Support compliance initiatives including ISO 27001 and UK-specific requirements (CE/CE+).
• Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to improve the organization's overall security posture.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC operations, or systems administration.
• Foundational understanding of networking, endpoint security, identity management, and incident response.
• Experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., Crowdstrike, Azure Sentinel).
• Strong proficiency with Windows, Linux, macOS, and cloud-based environments.
• Must be based in London, UK to support the hybrid work model.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting environments.
• Familiarity with utilizing AI and LLM tools within a SOC.
• Scripting or automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SC-900, or Network+.
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
