Test Technical Program Manager (AI Hardware)

Location: On-site in San Jose, California; in-person work from the San Jose office is required. International travel to manufacturing partners is expected. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to San Jose.

What you will do

• Drive manufacturing test programs across prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production builds.
• Define test strategy, milestones, and deliverables with hardware, firmware, software, systems, validation, and manufacturing engineering teams.
• Coordinate board-level, subsystem, and system-level test solutions for L6, L10, and L11 assemblies.
• Ensure test hardware, software, fixtures, automation, and infrastructure are ready for production milestones.
• Deploy and scale manufacturing test processes with contract manufacturers and FATP partners.
• Track test readiness, station bring-up, throughput, capacity, coverage, factory deployment, root-cause analysis, yield improvement, and failure diagnostics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hardware test engineering experience, including transition into a Technical Program Management role.
• Experience leading complex hardware manufacturing test programs from development through production and ramp.
• Strong understanding of EVT, DVT, PVT, test coverage, station architecture, fixture development, automation, yield analysis, and failure diagnostics.
• Experience working with hardware, firmware, software, validation, manufacturing engineering, contract manufacturers, FATP partners, or ODM/OEM organizations.
• Strong cross-functional program management, communication, and senior leadership presentation skills.
• Willingness to work in person from the San Jose office and travel internationally to manufacturing partners.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing test experience with AI servers, accelerator systems, networking hardware, storage systems, or high-performance computing platforms.
• Familiarity with board-level testing, system-level testing, boundary scan, functional testing, burn-in, HASS/HALT, or factory automation.
• Experience with automated test equipment, test software frameworks, fixture development, manufacturing diagnostics, yield analysis, failure Pareto, or test escape data.
• Experience supporting first-generation hardware products through factory bring-up in a startup environment.
