Product Lead (Data Licensing)

Polymarket operates a peer-to-peer prediction market platform that produces continuously updating, market-priced probabilities for real-world events.

What you will do

• Own the data licensing product and program end-to-end, including roadmap, packaging, pricing, licensing terms, and performance metrics.
• Serve as the primary product counterpart to the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), managing the joint roadmap and translating distribution requirements into product development.
• Define data products covering real-time event probabilities, order book depth, trade prints, and historical archives, including tiers and entitlements.
• Work with hedge funds, banks, proprietary trading firms, media companies, and other institutional clients to identify needs and shape the roadmap.
• Partner with data engineering on feed architecture, latency, uptime SLAs, delivery reliability, and documentation.
• Work with legal and compliance on licensing terms, redistribution rights, and market data policy while developing the commercial narrative for the products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, market data, or a commercial role in financial data.
• Direct ownership of a revenue-generating product or program.
• Deep familiarity with packaging, licensing, and pricing market data.
• Experience working with or selling to institutional clients such as hedge funds, banks, proprietary trading firms, or data vendors.
• Ability to write product specifications, prioritize roadmaps, make trade-offs, and lead pricing and client conversations.
• Technical fluency with data feeds, latency, delivery requirements, and schemas, plus the ability to work independently as the program owner.

Nice to have

• Experience at an exchange, market data vendor, index provider, or financial data platform.
• Experience launching a data product through a distribution or reseller partner.
• Familiarity with prediction markets, crypto, or on-chain data.
