Senior Solution Engineer (Manufacturing & Automotive)

Location: Hybrid; based in the DACH region or elsewhere in Europe, with approximately 25–35% travel to clients across the region

What you will do

• Own solution engineering for enterprise opportunities in the Manufacturing and Automotive vertical.
• Translate supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and traceability challenges into clear solution scopes.
• Design and deliver realistic, industry-specific hirify.global HUB demonstrations and own end-to-end proofs of concept.
• Guide customer integrations involving SAP and non-SAP systems, including functional RFP, RFI, and IT integration topics.
• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, stakeholder mapping, competitive positioning, and value messaging.
• Feed industry insights into Product, represent hirify.global at industry events, and mentor junior Solution Engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, technical consulting, or sales engineering for B2B enterprise SaaS, with relevant industry experience.
• Experience owning complex enterprise deals end-to-end, including proofs of concept and security reviews, with deal sizes above €250K.
• Strong technical fluency in REST APIs, SAP, identity management and SSO, cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and basic data modeling.
• Ability to connect regulatory or operational challenges to ROI, TCO, KPIs, and executable deployment roadmaps.
• Native or near-native German and fluent English are required.
• Must be based in the DACH region or elsewhere in Europe and able to travel approximately 25–35% to regional clients.

• Industry recognition through trade-event speaking, working-group participation, or experience at a leading company in the target vertical.
• Expertise in supplier intelligence, carbon accounting, reporting, traceability, or product compliance.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow, or industry-specific platforms.
• Exposure to Agentic AI, Italian, Spanish, or French.
• Experience scaling Solution Engineering teams or building enablement programs.
