System Requirements Engineer

Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite)

Salary: $62,500–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Define, analyze, and verify system and subsystem requirements.
• Apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering methods.
• Develop requirement trees, flow-downs, and conduct performance trades.
• Design test strategies and manage requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Translate mission needs into functional system models and CONOPS.
• Collaborate on technical planning, risk management, and interface design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in systems engineering with an emphasis on requirements engineering.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
• Familiarity with MBSE or digital engineering tools and methods.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to approach problems with a system-level perspective.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency with SysML, STPA, or DOORS.
• Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, or cybersecurity.
