Head of Launch for Europe (Maritime)

hirify.global develops AI and robotics technology for maritime domain awareness through its SmartMast sensor system, combining a camera, software-defined radio, and onboard AI for vessels worldwide.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global's market entry and expansion across European maritime markets.
• Build relationships with maritime administrations, flag state authorities, EU bodies, commercial fleets, vessel owners, port authorities, and maritime organizations.
• Map regulatory, trade, customs, spectrum, equipment approval, data-handling, labor, and maritime safety requirements across European jurisdictions.
• Develop market-entry playbooks and establish import, customs, warehousing, staging, and logistics infrastructure for SmartMast deployments.
• Identify, vet, and onboard local installers, fabricators, and port-side vendors.
• Negotiate vessel, port, partnership, and space-use agreements while coordinating onboarding with field operations and global product, engineering, legal, and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in senior operations, market launch, business development, or public policy roles.
• Working knowledge of European maritime, trade, and regulatory frameworks and the variation across regional markets.
• Experience navigating government processes, multilateral regulatory bodies, and public-private partnerships.
• A track record of closing complex B2B partnerships, joint ventures, or fleet and vessel agreements.
• Fluency in English is required.

• Experience in maritime, government affairs, or another highly regulated industry.
• Professional proficiency in French, German, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, or Spanish.
• Experience recruiting, scaling, and mentoring cross-disciplinary regional teams.
