Software Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Build and scale foundational infrastructure services that manage critical resources within the cloud platform.
• Design highly scalable, durable, and reliable platform services with an emphasis on ease of use.
• Lead cross-functional projects across engineering, cloud support, site reliability, and product teams.
• Own end-to-end development and maintenance of software modules and service components, including refactoring.
• Deliver full lifecycle feature development: translate business requirements into technical specifications and deploy into existing cloud architecture.
• Improve operational excellence via automation, monitoring/logging/alerting, and production incident root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• On-site in San Francisco, CA (US)
• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in microservices and infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Experience with observability (e.g., time-series databases, log aggregation, distributed tracing).
• Programming experience with modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
