Software Engineer (Go)

Location: On-site at the Sunnyvale office, United States

Salary: $141K–$162K base annually

What you will do

• Develop containerized microservices for a distributed, multi-tenant system.
• Process real-time events, cloud data, and network telemetry to provide security insights and recommendations.
• Design services, defend architecture decisions, and deliver robust implementations.
• Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle.
• Operate services in production and improve their supportability, quality, and resilience.
• Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns while partnering with Product Management on requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
• 2+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
• Professional experience with Go and SQL.
• API-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerized services and Kubernetes.
• REST API clients, TCP/IP networking, and Unix/Linux programming experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with networking and security controls.
• CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible experience.
