Senior Solution Engineer - Healthcare & Utilities

Location: Hybrid; based in the DACH region or elsewhere in Europe, with approximately 25–35% travel to clients across the region.

What you will do

• Own solution engineering for enterprise opportunities in the Healthcare & Utilities vertical, from platform deep dives through customer decision.
• Translate supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and track-and-trace requirements into solution scopes.
• Design and deliver realistic, industry-specific demonstrations and lead end-to-end proofs of concept.
• Navigate SAP and non-SAP integrations, including functional RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, and IT integration topics.
• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, stakeholder mapping, and technical value propositions.
• Share industry insights with Product, represent hirify.global at industry events, and mentor junior Solution Engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, consulting, or sales engineering for B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Clear industry expertise covering value chains, operating models, regulatory pressures, and digital landscapes.
• Experience owning complex enterprise deals end-to-end, including proofs of concept and security reviews; comfortable with deal sizes above €250K.
• Technical fluency in REST APIs, SAP, SSO, cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and basic data modeling.
• Ability to connect regulatory or operational pain points to ROI, TCO, KPIs, and deployment roadmaps.
• Native or near-native German and fluent English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Supplier Intelligence, Carbon Accounting, Reporting, Traceability, or Product Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow, or relevant industry platforms.
• Exposure to Agentic AI, recognized industry presence, or experience scaling Solution Engineering teams and enablement programs.
• Italian, Spanish, or French language skills.
