Solutions Engineering Lead (AI)

Location: Paris, France; office-first and primarily in-person. Occasional work from home is supported based on individual judgment. Relocation support is available, including residence and work permit procedures.

What you will do

• Lead Solutions Engineering across pre-sales, post-sales, and partnerships.
• Define team structure, career paths, operating standards, and success metrics.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop 4–6 Solutions Engineers during the first year.
• Build repeatable playbooks for discovery, pilots, onboarding, implementation, enablement, expansion, and partner co-selling.
• Support complex enterprise opportunities by validating integrations with APIs, Postman, and custom scripts.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to shape technical strategy and product roadmap input.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience leading technical teams in pre-sales, post-sales, solutions consulting, technical services, or a related function.
• Experience managing or working across multiple Solutions Engineering functions.
• Deep expertise in APIs, integrations, data connectors, enterprise architecture, security, and compliance.
• Production coding experience in Python, TypeScript, Bash, or a similar language.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SSO, MCP, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Ability to explain agentic systems, workflow automation, and copilot products to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience building a Solutions Engineering organization during an early growth stage.
• Experience hiring and developing Solutions Engineers across multiple regions or functions.
• Experience with AI, LLM, or agent platforms, including retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, or model evaluation.
• Experience with technical partner programs, co-selling, or partner enablement.
• Experience influencing product strategy through customer and market feedback.
