Physician Coder (Radiology)

Location: 100% remote; the company operates with certified coders throughout the United States.

hirify.global is a privately held medical coding management services provider based in Mandeville, Louisiana, serving health systems, providers, and payers.

What you will do

• Review and accurately code radiology and multispecialty E/M cases, including POS 11, 21, and 22.
• Code E/M visits, office procedures, diagnostics, and professional services.
• Research coding scenarios independently and resolve documentation or coding issues.
• Meet daily production goals and maintain an average quality accuracy rate of 95%.
• Communicate coding trends and issues to leadership and participate in coding and education meetings.
• Maintain current coding knowledge, credentials, confidentiality, and compliance with payer requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent hands-on physician coding experience in radiology, E/M leveling, and bedside procedures.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC professional credential in good standing, such as CCS-P or CPC; CPC-A is not accepted.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, disease processes, CPT and ICD-10-CM coding, modifiers, surgical techniques, and Medicare and Medicaid billing policies.
• Experience with teaching physician scenarios, split/shared services, and incident-to billing.
• High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, electronic healthcare record systems, and billing systems.

Nice to have

• RCC and/or CIRCC credentials.
• Experience with Google Workspace, remote work, multiple specialties, 3M 360 EMR, billing denials, or auditing.
