What you will do
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM billing codes supported by documentation.
- Review OASIS assessments and determine appropriate codes.
- Identify primary and secondary diagnoses and procedures.
- Follow coding compliance regulations and internal billing policies.
- Review care plans and recommend corrections when needed.
- Work additional or irregular hours as required.
Requirements
- GED or high school diploma.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Coding certification such as HCS-D or BCHH-C.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Ability to safeguard company and client information under applicable security policies.
- Ability to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods.
