Location: Fully remote in Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, or Wales

What you will do
- Build and evolve the Reporting team's Insights reports and dashboards, including Staff Performance, Stock, Client Retention, and Memberships.
- Design and implement software components and enhancements for a high-scale distributed platform.
- Translate high-level requirements into user stories and shippable features with product designers and owners.
- Develop RESTful APIs and apply event-driven architecture, Docker, and serverless cloud technologies.
- Maintain high coding standards through clean, reusable, maintainable code and unit testing.
- Coach teammates through code reviews and whiteboarding sessions and contribute to technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience with object-oriented software design.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals and current JavaScript development.
- Experience building and working with RESTful APIs.
- Ability to reason about backend technology trade-offs and maintain high standards of quality.
- Ability to work remotely from Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, or Wales.
