Senior Java Engineer

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid remote work is available from any location in Germany, with regular team and area anchor days requiring office attendance.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain all aspects of customer-facing products with a cross-functional team.
• Build, launch, and maintain software solutions in an autonomous and collaborative environment.
• Develop Java services and scalable, self-documented RESTful APIs.
• Improve customer experience, data safety, and measurable customer value through hypothesis-driven development.
• Contribute to software quality through automated testing and appropriate test coverage.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience building Java services with Spring Boot, Spring Native, Micronaut, or Quarkus.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience creating and consuming scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience working in complex and heterogeneous system landscapes.
• Previous experience in a customer-centric domain and a collaborative team environment.
