Digital Video Producer (News)

Location: On-site in Osterley, London, UK; overnight role with four shifts per week.

What you will do

• Produce, edit, and publish fast, accurate video content for digital platforms.
• Cover breaking news and premium content for audiences consuming news overnight.
• Develop creative treatments and pitch story angles, including viral and trending stories.
• Apply media law requirements covering OFCOM, copyright, defamation, and related compliance matters.
• Collaborate with the newsroom team on fast-paced news production.

Requirements

• Proven experience producing, editing, and publishing video for digital platforms.
• Experience delivering accurate video content for breaking news and premium content under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional news judgment and a strong understanding of UK and global news.
• Knowledge of sourcing and clearing material for video production.
• Comprehensive understanding of media law.
• Recognised qualification in journalism. Applicants must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
