Senior Software Engineer (IAM)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States — on-site

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 annually plus bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale hirify.global Cloud identity and access management platforms.
• Develop scalable cloud services for user access management, gateways, user features, and notifications.
• Build automation software for infrastructure deployment and management.
• Implement operationally efficient, scalable, and low-touch cloud and AI services.
• Partner with customer success, operations, cloud support, engineering, and site reliability teams.
• Mentor engineers through design discussions, code reviews, hiring, onboarding, and technical best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Professional programming experience with modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, C#, or C++.
• Experience designing and scaling fault-tolerant distributed systems and managed cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD systems.
• Security background including encryption, authentication, authorization, credential management, RBAC, service meshes, TLS, mTLS, or zero-trust architectures.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, communicate complex ideas, and guide engineers.
